Just a tip, those long aluminum cylinders with the powermax steppers
and short little ballscrew that have been selling on ebay from cusdn
and others make great nema 23 motor mounts. Just chop off the
aluminum cylinder, face it on a mill or lathe and tap 2 or 4 holes
and you have a very sturdy little mount.
