I copy the NON blue or NON link part of the link then click on the
link. It doesn't work, but it does take me to eBay, or where ever. On
the address line in my browser I put the ? mark after the displayed
address, then paste the part I copied earlier from the original email. Hit
go and the link comes up. The carriage return is after the ? mark, so I
don't copy anything on that line, just the bottom line.
Some links may have more than one line after the part that is still a
link. Each of those lines will have a carriage return after the
line. Copy just the line making sure not to copy the space after the last
letter and paste them to the address line on your browser. Sometimes
simply copying every line after the link portion will paste properly. I
think that has to do with a "hard return" or a "soft return" at the end of
the line. Even in my advanced years I can remember to type in the ? mark
before pasting the copied material when updating the link address.
If it's an eBay deal, there's another way which to some might be
simpler. Simply copy the item number toward the end of the link, and do an
eBay search for the number.
