There are a lot more good tools coming out of
Tiawan in the last 5 years, similar to Japan 25
years ago. There are no good tools coming out
of China, but give them 10 to 15 years and things
will change. A lot of people dump Tiawan and
Chinese tools together in the same quality basket.
They are 15 years apart in quality. I am talking
about machines say over $5000 US.

Similar to the other mini-lathes out of Taiwan and Japan, OK but not
great.

I echo the sentiments of Mr. Jackman, there are no great tools coming
from Taiwan, just usuable ones.
