There are third party libraries, but I've never felt the need. It's
very easy to create a profile and extrude it in many different ways
with Rhino. I found Rhino a lot easier to wrap my head around that
AutoCad. One thing that you should be aware of if you're interested in
bending metal is that Rhino has the unique? ability to flatten an
extruded, curved sheet so that it can be cut out with some cnc device.
The only caveat that I can think of is that the piece can only be
curved in one direction at a time. Or to put it another way, it can be
both bent and somewhat twisted, but it can't be convex or concave.

BTW, if you're looking for stock steel profiles, Quickcad has a pretty
good symbol library included, and it's dirt cheap.
