Need basic CNC info

Hello Everyone!
I am new to this site. I run a suspension company and need to start
learning about CNC. I have a Hardinge HLV lathe and a Rockwell/Delta
vertical/horizontal mill. I would like some reading recommendations
about CNC basics. And also is there anyway to convert my present
machinery to CNC.
