Hi Pete,

Another option would be to build your own CNC machine. I sell plans
to convert Sieg built mini-mills, like the Harbor Freight model
#44991, to CNC. Please check out my web site at

All of the required machined parts can be made right on the mill
prior to it's CNC conversion. These little mills are made of iron
which helps make them quite rigid. As desktop CNCs go these are
excellent little machines. They also have R8 spindle tapers which is
real handy for accessorizing.
