mounting a lead screw

i might not be calling this by the right name but here goes my
question i am building a router table from advise no plans here
anyway i have the x axis in place and the table slides well so now i
want to mount some acme allthread rod to make it move i have thought
about this and it seems that this needs to be perfectly inline or i
will have binding does anyone know of a method to do this and get it
right the first time ?
