Dial Up to Earthlink with Linux

Larry,
In Xwindows, click on the network configurator Icon in the control panel.
Click on the Interfaces tab. Click on the ADD tab. In the box that pops up,
check PPP and click OK. Fill in the phone number, user name and password.
Don't forget the ELN/ in front of your user name.
Click on the Done button and save the configuration.
Click on the NAMES tab and enter earthlink.net in the Domain Box and in the
NAMESERVERS box enter 207.217.126.81 <ENTER> 207.217.120.83 and then click
save.
Click on the INTERFACES tab, click on the PPP entry, click on the ACTIVATE
button and it should dial up and log on.
If you don't get a dial tone, click the EDIT button and check that the Modem
Port is set right.
All you have to do now is start NetScape.
