DeskNC board repair

Hi all,

a friend thinkis he blew up his DeskNC board (ver 1.38)

I told him I'd take a look at it to see if there is any obvious
problems.

HAs anyone ever fixed one of these ?

Any recomendatoins on what to look for ? or the best way to
proceede ?
