Variable frequency drive question

How does the voltage rating of a variable frequency drive work. I
wish to power the spindle of a 1hp brigeport mill and we have 240
three phase in the shop.
Can I run this from a drive (GE AF-300B)that is rated for 460max
voltage or do the voltages of the drive and the motor and the supply
need to match?
Thanks in advance
