Chris,
Going to 300oz-in motors MAY not give higher travel speed. Compare the
torque curves on those stronger steppers to the ones you have now. MOST of
the "power" will probably be at the lower RPM scale. The curves look
awfully alike at 1,000RPM or higher.....Compare a Vexta 125oz 2A stepper
curve with their 187oz 2A stepper curve. At 500RPM there is little
difference in available torque!
