Yaskawa Serial Encoder

Anyone know of a generic replacement for a Yaskawa Sigma II encoder,
either incremental or absolute? This would be for the "H" series of
motors, it is a Serial Encoder with a four wire connecting cable -
0VDC, 5VDC, SD, and /SD.
I am willing to spend up to $ 1.75USD, but I may have to increase that
budget to get what I want.
Merry Christmas
