Robert- are you planning a 2 axis or four axis machine? Vector comes with the capability to program 4 axis wire EDM. With this axis configuration, you can program tapers and angled IDs with different contour shapes for the top and the bottom.

One of our customers has built a machine that is actually a foam, hot wire cutting, machine. He uses the Vector 4 axis capabilities to cut up big chunks of foam for entertainment and recreational industry customers (movies and theme parks). Big chunks to him is about 6 feet square and 8 feet high! He also has a rotary table under the material.
