Greetings all, (new to forum)
While on the subject of pcbs. I recently had to mill some small pcb's for our target drones undercarriage (ABS brakes). These were designed in Rhino and machine on our Haas MiniMill.
Much to my surprise it came out very well. So I have decided that I will build a small desktop cnc mill and mill my pcb's for home projects. Now this is were I hit a snag. Most of the pcb's are in PDF format. I did a google search and found a few free pgm's that supposedly extracts the image from PDF to DXF. Well so far none work. I just get a birds nest most of the time and some don't even do it.
So I have 2 question:
Were can I get software that can extract a layout from PDF 2 DXF or raster 2 vector? preferably only the out lines.
Were can I get plans. I found a very nice desk top cnc mill, but the owner doesn't sell plans outside Canada & USA :-((
In case u wondering why I don't just mill them here at work.............I'm to busy machining our mini turbine engine parts :-)))
thanks for a interesting forum.
