At the present time I am just looking around and studying in general as I
convert my Sherline mill.
So I am not really running anything. I understand that the NC program is the
one that converts the signals for step and direction outputs to the motor
drivers.
I guess I am confused, is the Capsturn/mill program usable, if the output is
put in a .DXF file, is it usable?
Are all the numbers there?
Can it be used to make parts with the proper CAM program following it and
then feeding the controller?
