Mach2 support pendants a couple ways- I use a Genovation keypad. There
is also support for a device called an ipac which is an interface to the
keyboard. There is also support for rotary encoder inout- sometimes
called MPG- manual pulse generators.

You would do better to ask Mach2 questions on the mach2 list. Lots more
people there with detailed knowledge of mach2
