There are some really nice servos for a Bridgeport here:
http://www.servosystems.com/servo_motors_surplus2.htm
5/8" shaft, 3/8" for encoder...tons of torque.
Just have to spend $500 each without encoders!!
Might be worth spending the $$$$ and getting a motor you
KNOW is gonna work.
