Understanding the cost of owning a business - this is not too high. I once
invented a ss pcb carrying rack having 8 folds requiring 120 tons of
pressure. not having money for the 6000 dollar die, I bribed the owner of an
amada cnc punch to cut 600 thin cross sections of the profile with lots and
lots and lots ......of beer, all having a central hole for a bolt to bind to
a single mass the base of which intergrated a brake tool holder. it worked.
I defined this invented process as stack lam mfg. there is no reason that
the same procedure cannot be used to make the "teeth" config for step
pulleys, the sides being conformal washers
