For those that are interested in Lathe programming, Wayne has completed the update to Lathe Quick Code 2000. It is now available with inch or metric units, and supports single or double line, style of G76 threading cycles, as well as the multiple passes used for G32/33. It has a nice percent thread calculator for selecting tapdrill sizes, and a cross referenced inch/metric drill size chart is built in. He also added internal grooving routines.

The program has been re-written in PowerBasic, and the download is only about 350K. Demo includes 8 trial runs. Prior registered users can upgrade to the new version at no charge. Educational licenses are now available.
