Well, the biggest problem I see is the spindle speed - 1970 RPM is
the max. That is way to slow for 1/8" end mills, and even 1/4" in many
cases. Some of the other models have even LOWER speeds!
Lathemaster doesn't even list the spindle speeds, but it may be
as low as 1250, like my local client's unit. It drives him NUTS, and
he spends hours making a part that could be made in minutes with
a higher spindle speed.

The second restriction is the roughly 7.5" Y axis travel. Make sure
this is enough
travel for your workpieces.

It is Chinese, for sure. I think all of these machines are made from
the same
basic castings.

Other than spindle speed, though, these machines are all excellent
candidates
for a CNC retrofit!
