Thanks for all the feedback guys! :)
The factory use laser to cut the stainless, but I have been trying to show
my friend the wonders of aluminum and anodizing. Unfortunately, they charge
her for the cutting by the inch, and it works out really expensive (like 50%
of the item price).
From what you've all said I've gathered this:
1. forget trying to route stainless, it's going to be a baaad idea.
2. die's are a pretty good idea!
So I think I'm going to take a look into using my CNC mill to make some
die's (please post me any links you have off-list). I've been looking around
a bit, but not found so much information on google yet. I'm wondering if I
could just use a standard hyraulic press and machine some dies for that.
I'll post to Jobshophomeshop and see what they have to say.
