help with motor ID

Does this mean anything to identify this motor? It looks like a
gearbox on one end and a servo motor attached. I am thinking a
siemens motor with a Heynau controller. I wonder if it is possible to
control this motor with computer? either though the Heynau controller
or to detach the motor and use Geckos etc.
