Ron,
Your great! Thanks for the support. I have a few questions though. I
truly have minimal experience with CNC so pardon me if this sound
juvinile. What is a dremel? Does it attach to the milling machine?
Also what is a tapered end mill? I am familiar with flat head and ball
nose cutters as I have to adapt the post processing in Deskproto to
generate the appropriate toolpath, but not sure about the tapered end
mill. Do you have any advice for an individual that does not own any
of this equipment, and wants to experiment for cheap? Lastly I am not
sure I understand what you meant creating g-code by digitizing
originals. Do you use a 3rd party software to create the toolpath?
sorry for the ridiculous questions but sincerely am not familiar with
the language of Milling. Do you have any literature you would
recommend me reading to get a better picture of the history of milling
and the current applications of lathes, routers, robotics and other
CNC milling machines. Hope to hear from you soon! Dave
