Small(ish) scale CNC miller

Hi Folks,
I am UK based and am looking to get into CNC milling primarily for
pattern making. The patterns are for engine parts typically for my JAP
powered Morgan Three Wheeler. Currently I make my patterns on my non
CNC lathe and Bridgeport mill. I can find Bridgeport Interact Series 1
machines for sale but I don't think I can find room for one of these in
my garage workshop alongside my other machines. I need something
smaller but there seems to be a gap in the market? The biggest "small"
machine I have found so far is the machine sold by Simplycnc
http://www.simplycnc.com/ , in particular their maxi mill. The parts I
make range from say 1" cube up to a maximum of say 14" square by 4 or
5" deep.

Have you any suggestions where else I might look or any feedback on the
simply CNC machine. Ideally I want something I can get into the
workshop and put to use rather than a project in its own right.

Thanks in anticipation

Ian
