There are a couple of ways to do what you are asking for:
1. We provide an applet with the driver. You can set one depth for the job
with a possibility of multiple passes by declaring a maximum Z move in any
one pass.
2. The applet supports up to 10 colors. A job can be designed with vectors
in different colors.
The colors can be used to control - job feed rates or Z depths for each
color in the CNC world. (will be added soon)
The colors can be used to control - power, speed, and Q-switch frequency in
the laser world. (Power and speed already implemented)
3. Many applications including CAD/CAM products can create zigzag fill
and/or island fills for specific tool diameter. The LinkMotion driver will
treat outlines of the shapes as well as fill lines as vectors and create M&G
codes for the job on the screen.
Best regards.

I'm curious how you go about setting the Z depth for different paths?
Also curious if it only traces the paths or if it can be configured with
tool info so it can do area fills?
