Ok I am new and I think this may cross the line a bit in some spots...
Here goes.. I am trying to build my very first and only CNC machine with out spending anything cause my family and I are living on $1200 a month..
I have a dec laser printer with I think 3 motors in it and 2 cannon bubble jet printers I have access to a 3 foot slab of marble that I can use as a bed..
My problem is how/where can I find the plans and schematics to build the controllers and the other stuff like I said I have no money I can spend on this project.
I also have about 4 old computers I can use for parts... most are p100's so they are pretty out dated... I tried turbocnc and it won't run on my version of win98se so I am hunting dos 5.0 and win3.1 so I can run any thing I can get my hands on my brother is trained to run 3Dstudio max and autocad so I have access to a designer..
What I need is the hard info on putting my dream into reality please help... the other part is is it important the number of axes I can build into this monster I am trying to make?
Thank you all so very much for any and all the help you can give me.
Michael
