[OT] "A" size X/Y plotter needed

I am about to start writing a CNC for the Macintosh and am in need of
an old X/Y plotter so I may do initial testing at my desk rather than
in the garage.
I would prefer an "A" size (needs to be physically small), If it runs
off of stepper motors it would be helpful (otherwise I will replace the
motors). My preference would be for one of the really old flatbed types
where the pen moves and the paper stays still. The electronics do not
have to work, I will be replacing them with my own stepper drivers.
Prefer pickup in the Seattle area,
