Replaceable Rings

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone out there could provide a solution to a
production problem I am having. I want to establish a way to produce
10 diameter metal/plastic rings for a rotary moulder. After the
material is rolled into a hollowed out ring(which I am not sure how to
do), I would like to use some type of horizontal rotary head to drive
the material around while some type of cutter engraves a die cavity
into the metal/plastic. The metal will be flat, but in the shape of an
extra large wedding ring. If anyone has any ideas of where to look to
find a piece of equipment that could execute this job, I would
honestly appreciate it more than you know. Really don't have a great
deal of background in CNC but understand the basics of loading the
geometry into a 3rd party CAD/CAM software program and generating the
g-code for a small milling machine. Regardless, you can reply to my
email address or at this site. Thanks again and look forward to
getting your thoughts. Take care. Dave
