I have experience with Teksoft. It never impressed me very much. The
software was quirky (even when it was in DOS) and there's not a good enough
solid 3-D modeling package. It seems everything is "an option". If you are
a surface guru and don't mind duplicating your work for cutterpathing from
cad, you may wish to try it, because for the price is it just under "ok"
IMHO.
I've seen better things from Dolphin, Rhino, Visual Mill, Delcam and
MasterCAM. OneCNC seems to be getting a lot of talk these days, but I have
no experience with it.
It's usually a matter of price, but by all means, do your homework first.
Don't shell out money for software you've not tried "hands on" first! There
are countless stories of such horrors out there. Test drive the stuff
first.
Good Luck,
Rob
