Rotary set-up question????

Hi all, hopefully there are some of you that have experience in adding rotary axis to a cnc milling or even a lathe system..... I know this is asking a lot, but if you can help get me started in hardware and software requirement, I would greatly appreciate it!

I am using stepper in my mill and lathe system, MicroKinetics is one of the controller programs I have access to....
