Go buy Autodesk Inventor 10 and download iParts from http://www.sdotson.com/
and various other sites.
Most manufacturers (gears included) have CAD drawings available in various
formats, just ask them or look on there web site.
Here's a site, one of many mostly European vendors;

Stuffs' not hard to find.
Below is a simple Excel spread sheet that has some parameters for a simple
Spur Gear iPart for Inventor. Plug in whatever values you need and viola! A
gear to your specifications. Like I said this one is simple, they get
considerably more complex from here.
