If you want a "free" software 3D-Cad program, contact Alibre. They have 30 day free trials.
Plus, if it's the "right day" you'll receive 3 very informative instruction CD's. The software is as good as Inventor or SolidWorks for the average guy. After the 30 days are up, you change the date on your PC to the day you installed the program to restart the software.

I'm not a gambler, don't play Lotto, don't need more CAD software, but
I AM extremely curious about this 'offer' and the company behind it.
I'm guessing Alibre, but have absolutely _nothing_ to base my guess
on other than their innovative way of designing, marketing and
supporting their stuff. They _might_ be out-of-the-box enough to
do something like this, but I haven't a clue. I don't use their
product.
I'm hoping it's Dassault, but can't see WHY they'd do such a thing.
SolidWorks "Lite" ... could be great. Catia Lite ain't happenin',
IMHO.
Oh, if you do decide to join up for X-Cad, don't forget to follow-thru
on the confirmation email they'll immediately send you. You won't be
counted unless you do. All it takes is a click on the hyperlink in
the email.
