Linux install

I have Red Hat 6.2 and Caldera OpenLinux 2.3 in removable hard drives
on my system, and I found that the Caldera distro was a no-brainer to
install. Getting EMC running on it is another matter, still having
troubles with dependencies.
Red Hat 6.2 was a royal pain and it seems buggy to me, having trouble
with rpm for starter. Haven't even gotten around to install EMC on it.
