concerning estop
someone asked about this at the Mazak Fest
I replied that the standard was held by the fire dept somehow
actually the National Fire Prevention Association
( I'm guessing at the acronym)
here's the reference..
NFPA 79
it lists (I think ) 3 levels of security and implementations
from purely electromechanical to computer involved.
I >think< this was first heard at the Names 2004 show,
in the after show EMC Fest.
I have not read it, but it bears some investigation.
I dont even know where to look, but will google it now.
