And by definition, this is not closed loop for Mach3. Closed loop
control implies that the position error is used in trajectory
calculations. That's not what was described. The described
functionality is more like a traveling soft limit switch - it'll trip if
the actual position is outside a set range from the commanded position.

It's open loop with an error bar.
