I don't know of any websites dealing with this subject in any detail but I
bought a cheap book:

"Precision Lead Screws, Gears and Pantographs". I bought it from a
specialised model engineering book supplier here in the UK but I believe you
can get it from Lindsay Publications Inc.

Almost half of this little book covers engraving and engraving machines with
a section on grinding the tooling.
