denford triac **********help!!!!!

Hi , i`m new to the group and wondering if there is anybody out there
that can help..

i recently purchased a denford triac pc and star turn lathe, both made
in 1993, from a local college.
Bought with no leads, so i bought a old pc with 2 9 pin comm ports
loaded with win98, as they run on a dos based system, but having
trouble sourcing info on the leads and gettin them up and running..
i have virtually no cnc experience apart from programming and setting
jobs, so if anybody could help it would be much appreciated..
