Hi group,
While shopping for a surplus 12 inch ball screw I came across a beautiful X-Y assembly (no motors) but it had my 12" and a 29" screw. I can't bring myself to gut it so going forward my proposed milling machine will be some what bigger. Therefore I am looking for at least 2 stepper motors in the greater than 650 ox/in range. I intend to remove the crossfeed and bolt this assy to the ways of my 3-in-1 so the modification will not be needed.
Anyway I now need bigger motors now .... Probably 1200 oz/in If anybody has 2 or 3 to get rid of I would be interested in purchasing or bartering Feel free to contact me off-list at l
