I made a few clips of the machine cutting aluminum.

Quality is not great, Gotta get a decent camera.
Though it worked with surprising ease there are a few
things I'm not satisfied with.
The passes were 1/16 deep x 1/16 width from edge.
If I had the correct end mill it would go through
without being on the edge. It's pushing a dremel to
do this.
There was some deflection because of
1: Dremel is not strong enough to do this on a
regular basis.(You knew that already.)
2: 18" between supports is too far for 1/2 drill rod.
(1" would be fine.)
3:The z axis on the proto machine is too sloppy.
(It is not on production machines.)
There was no problem with rigidity or motors working hard.
The machines are really intended for fine, quality detail work.
I think a person who wants to cut metal is going to get a micro
-mill at the very least.
I am working on a larger version of the machine though.
