I talked to the Hurco people out at WESTEC last April - they
confirmed that the required parts to restore the Ultimax control are
out of production and long since out of stock.

trying to get as much documentation as possible on the existing
hardware so I can give vendors accurate specs.
I have worked in electronics off and on over the years and worked for
Gateway computer corp for 2 1/2 years before they closed domestic
operations. But motion control is still new to me.
I will also get some decent pics posted - maybe inspire some other
ideas.
A later addon I want to do is some form of 4th axis - again any ideas
will be much appreciated.
