I understand that the bearings and "normal" lube in those may do OK up to
4000 RPM, but once you run 'em faster than maybe 5000 RPM, the life of the
bearings drops hyperbolically, and you don't want to be in the same COUNTY when a
bearing fails in a motor spinning over 7200 RPM! I wouldn't want to be in
same BUILDING if one spinning at 5000 RPM failed. Not to mention the
irreparable damage to the rest of the motor, when that happens! Jan
