Hello All,
I am a complete newbie to CNC machines but recently after seeing a lot
of cool homemade CNCs as well their preformance decided to build one
of my own.
After just my first step I seem to be stuck, so need some help from
you pros!! I bought a stepper driver called MYCOM model SD45-431.
Unfortunately this came with no Datasheet, the only info on the
nameplate says 5V 4.0A and Input 90V-120V AC. I wired in the
connections the way I though made sense but the tiny little stepper I
bought for testing overheats in just seconds!! I wanted to know if you
guys could help me confirm my pin connections. The driver has pins as
follows:
CLK +
CLK -
CW/CCW +
CW/CCW -
CO +
CO -
MONI -----!
HEAT -----!
COM- ---!
A
A'
B
B'
AC
AC
FG
As far as I could make sense I figured that the driver would output 5V
at pins A, A', B, B' in sequence with each pulse I apply to the CLK input.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks
