Since Mariss didn't answer this specific question, the answer is, NO.
They are essentially silent when stepping slowly or standing still.

When properly adjusted, they make almost NO sound at all! Just the
faintest whine when accelerating or decelerating. The Gecko drives
are the quietest I've ever used. If any other motors are running in the
area, you won't be able to hear the motors run by a Gecko drive at
all. The drives, themselves, of course, make no sound at all.
