SIEG Group Purchase Progress

Some members already know of a Group Purchase being arranged for
SIEG machines. The C6B lathe and Super X3 Mill are candidates for
CNC or ELS.
There's a pause in discussions with SIEG due to Chinese New Year.
Basically, the country shuts down for 10-14 days. Our contact at
SIEG promises to be back Feb 5.
Assuming sufficient volume, final prices might look like the
following:
SX3: $900 (Super X3 Mill)
C6B: $725 (Variable-Speed Lathe)
M2B: $875 (Variable Speed L+M Combo)
Z16: $800 (Electronic Drill Press)
G1: $220 (Power Hack Saw)
These prices are FOB Shanghai. Getting the machines to each Buyer
requires another $250-$400. In any shipment, the first machine is
most expensive, and the second machine is "almost" free (except for
shipping weight), so there's advantage in buying two machines, or
combining machines for clusters of Buyers who live near to each
other. See http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/SIEG-SX3-C6B/ for
details.
