What servo drive are you using? If Gecko, do NOT put fuses between the
servo motor and drive. If the fuse ever pops, it will destroy the Gecko.

Most drives have internal current limiting, and therefore do not need a
fuse to protect the motor. They usually use a fuse between the power
supply and servo drive to keep catastrophic failures of the drives from
becoming fireworks shows. The drive manufacturer might be helpful
in calculating the required fuse rating. Again, with Gecko drives, fuses
can be a complication. However, a properly sized fuse would only blow
when a catastrophic failure of the drive had already happened, and
limit the damage to the board so it might still be repairable.
