Iam trying to drill a series of holes using a brad point drill bit.
When the bit retacts to the top of hole it does this crazy thing and
enlarges the top part of hole. So i need to turn off spindle and
wait tell if stops before retracting.....
Can this be done with a drill cycle or will I have to wright m3 & m5
code at every hole. I'am talking maybe 50 or 60 holes.

Gary:
In what way does it enlarge the hole? What type of control are you using?
Are you using tool radius compensation anywhere in the program prior to
calling for the drilling? Also, how long is the drill bit and at what speed are
you running the spindle for the drilling?
Are you using a sub-routine for the drilling?
