From a page I found at http://www.futurebots.com/parts.htm is the
closest I've found for any sort of data on these motors.
"Litton Clifton Precision DC motor JDTH-2250-GB-1C, date 1990, Nema size
23 DC brush motors
with4 mount screw holes on front. Peak torque 125 oz inch, 2 wires, 12
volts, 2.3 amps, 4700 rpms,
has a Encoder shaft. Great for CNC, Robotics, size 3 inch long x 2 inch
dia x 1/4 inch shaft."

These Litton/Clifton Precision nema size 23 brushed DC motors with encoders
can be found in many printers and plotters from the 70's to 90's.
I have DH-2250-C-1 (1977, 24Volt), DH-2250-F-1 (1978, voltage unknown,
judging by current draw they are 36V i think),
and DH-2250-AU-1 (1984, again voltage unknown).
I'll be stuffed if I can find any data on them though.
I'm going to try them on my Gecko340's in a couple of weeks to see how
they go?
Mic.
