The lasers need to be run horizontal.
From that you should know if you can mount them on your machine
physically. But you must remember that the mass will effect feed rate
and potentially cause problems on acceleration and decelleration.
As far as "ajustment", you will have a single mirror and lens,
alignment will be quite simple.
Personally I would never mount a laser on a moving gantry unless it
was for cutting huge things like sails or ballons. Adding one to a
mill is OK if it has the feed rate and you keep it clean.
You could build one like the ebay listing and have a moving bed in one
axis but use a flying mirror for the other, makes alignment easier
than a full flying mirror gantry and makes the machine smaller and
faster than trying to move the laser.
