The best that exists at the moment is to install RedHat 5.2 and then use the
real time setup script I put together and finally install EMC.
Your system is considerably slow if you are planning on using the closed
loop stepper motion module in EMC. This module is based off the freqmot
module and has the same system demands. I have gotten freqmot to run just
barely on a 133 and it is usable if your max speed is not too high on a 200.
I run it on an AMD K6 500 and it is great. If you use the open loop
steppermot your system will work just great until you start trying for rapid
rates that cause the unevenly spaced pulses from steppermot to give you
stalls.
