I've looked at some online used-CNC dealers, but what I keep finding in used
machines are the humongous units -- about 5ft wide, 6000-10,000 lbs,
requiring 3-phase power, etc. I am not a machinist, so I am not familiar
with a wide range of machines. Are there any brands/models you are thinking
of that I am not aware of?
I found this some time ago, that seems like it would meet my needs ...
http://www.knuth.de/prod_usa/drehen/konv/klein/pico_turn.htm
But I spoke with a Knuth sales rep who was supposed to get back to me (some
months ago) and never did. I'm thinking that since I clearly mention that I
need a lower-end machines, they redirect their attention to higher-commission
customers.
Would love to find one of these or similar on the used market.
Thanks,
-Neil.
